Then we made our way through miles ...

...and miles...(this is so huge!)

...of  jaw-dropping landscapes where it is obvious...

...that nature has a Creative Designer!

This is just to get a sense of the scale of the place.

Water action sculpted these forms....

I had to wonder, what did the first pioneers think of all this?
And how on earth did they even figure out how to get around it all?

There are not enough pictures, there are not enough words, to describe the experience of being PRESENT in the midst of so much grandeur. This is my attempt to share a glimpse....

And there are always the historical markers and signs that add to the experience...
